ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Born in the Colombian capital of Bogota, Robert Téllez Moreno is a well known journalist, author and researcher of Afro Latin Music. He is also recognized for his work as a radio and television presenter as well as for his interviews of legendary salsa musicians such as Celia Cruz, Oscar D’Leon and others. Telléz has also appeared as a lecturer in various important salsa festivals throughout Latin America.
Robert Tellez Moreno’s previous book, Fuerza Gigante (2016) which is the biography of the that other Latin music giant, Ray Barretto is also a recommend read for all salsa fanatics.
